Agreement
By using Moments ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time — continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.
The Service
Moments provides a shared photo platform for events. Hosts create events and invite guests. Guests capture photos that are revealed to event participants at a time set by the host.
Accounts
Hosts must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
Guests do not need accounts. They participate through temporary session links provided by the host.
Your Content
You retain full ownership of all photos and other content you upload to Moments. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely for the purpose of delivering the Service to you and your event's participants.
We do not claim any ownership over your content. We do not use your content for advertising, marketing, or training purposes.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others
- Use the Service to harass, abuse, or threaten others
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' events or data
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or bulk-download content
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure
- Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Pricing and Payment
Events are priced on a one-time, per-event basis. Prices are listed on our website and are charged at the time of event creation. All payments are non-refundable unless the Service fails to deliver as described.
Free tier events are available with limited guest counts and features.
Availability
We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages that temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for any loss resulting from temporary unavailability.
Termination
You may delete your account and all associated data at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your photos and event data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
Limitation of Liability
Moments is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific event in question.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
